Comfort in a time of Isolation

With so many of us isolated in our homes due to COVID-19, I’m watching musicians serve their communities by making music. Music serves a purpose as human communication: when we make or listen to music we can feel closer to ourselves, to each other, and to God.

So here’s a contribution from me: A setting of an old “shape-note” Southern hymn on Psalm 23, written for and performed by the George Fox University Women’s Chorale, with violinist Joey Otto. Click on the CC button to see the text of the hymn.
